When the whole country travels at once, pet hotels fill up fast. If you are planning to be away for Songkran in April, New Year, or any long weekend, treat your pet’s booking like your own flights and hotel: sort it early.
How early should you book?
For major holidays, aim to book three to four weeks ahead, and even earlier for popular, small hotels that only have a handful of rooms. Cats-only boutique hotels and cage-free dog hotels are usually the first to sell out.
Popular holiday spots book out first — reserve early.
Holiday surcharges and minimum stays
Some hotels add a small peak-season surcharge or require a minimum number of nights over big holidays, and many ask for a deposit to confirm. None of this is unusual — just check the terms when you book so there are no surprises.
