How Much Does a Pet Hotel Cost in Thailand? A 2026 Price Guide

Price is usually the first question when you start looking for a pet hotel — and the honest answer is “it depends”. The good news is that Thailand offers boarding at almost every budget, and the price differences are easy to understand once you know what you are paying for.

What a typical night costs

As a rough guide in 2026: a standard cat room starts around 250–400 baht per night, with larger or premium suites reaching 500–900 baht. Dog boarding is often a little higher, especially cage-free stays with a yard or pool, ranging from about 400 to 1,300 baht a night. Extra pets usually add 50–150 baht each, and many hotels offer weekly or monthly discounts of 10–30%.

What drives the price

Room size and privacy — a private suite costs more than a shared or capsule room
Location — central Bangkok areas cost more than the outskirts
Facilities — air conditioning, air purifiers, CCTV, pools and play areas add value
Services — grooming, daily photo updates, pickup and vet care can be bundled or charged separately
Most hotels offer several room tiers — pick the size that fits your pet and budget.

What is usually included — and what costs extra

Most hotels include a clean room, food and water bowls, a litter box or potty area, air conditioning and daily cleaning in the nightly rate. Many now include free in-room CCTV and daily photo updates too. What is often extra: your pet’s own food (bring it), grooming, medication administration, pickup and drop-off, and holiday surcharges during Songkran and New Year.

How to get the best value

The cheapest option is rarely the best value, and the most expensive is not always necessary. Compare a few hotels near you on price and what is included, read recent reviews, and ask about long-stay discounts if you will be away for a week or more. A slightly pricier hotel with CCTV and daily updates often buys the most valuable thing of all: peace of mind.
